Connect! National Network Expands with Over Twenty New Institutions
Boston, MA– December 3, 2007- ConnectEdu, Inc. welcomed a record number of colleges into the Connect! National Network™ during the month of November 2007. Over twenty institutions have joined the network to begin receiving electronic transcripts and letters of recommendation from students using Connect! – ConnectEdu’s integrated web solution for curriculum, college and career planning.
The nation’s only integrated web solution designed to streamline college admissions, Connect! is being utilized in over 1,000 high schools by 500,000 students, parents and school counselors. During the college application process, students can request and counselors can send admissions documents electronically with the push of a button. Colleges in the network are then able to download the verified documents into their systems using secure web delivery. In addition to eliminating mail processing and reducing paper generation at both the high school and the college, Connect! provides families and counselors automated tracking tools to monitor the status of the documents.
“The colleges joining our initiative are well-known innovators in college admissions,” said Craig Powell, President of ConnectEdu. “Together with our college partners we are building the most comprehensive, most utilized and most effective networks in the U.S. with one common goal: to make the process better for students.”
