ConnectEDU Introduces Connect! SuperAPP™

First Comprehensive Electronic Solution for Application for Admission to Deliver All Required Documents

September 27, 2008- ConnectEDU, Inc., (www.connectedu.net) the Web-based leader in connecting students with colleges and employers through the nation’s largest college and career planning network, announces the industry’s first web solution that allows applicants for admission to electronically deliver all required documents together. Connect! SuperAPP™, introduced at the Annual NACAC Conference in Seattle, provides students with the ability to send all required admission documents to colleges electronically including the completion of a flexible pre-populated application form, official transcript, letters of recommendation, the college essay, an electronic portfolio and high school profile. In addition, counselors, parents, students, and admission officers will manage and track all of admission documents, their deadlines, and their delivery in one secure, online location.

“By including all of the documents required in a college application in Connect! SuperAPP, we are creating one electronic application with all supplemental documents packaged together to streamline the process for students and families,” said ConnectEDU President and CEO, Craig Powell. “Traditionally in the admission process, the experience for counselors and families is fragmented and requires multiple paper forms or documents, often combined with some information submitted electronically – a system that is not cost-effective, environmentally sustainable nor immediate in terms of verification and confirmation. Now with Connect! SuperAPP, students, parents and counselors can manage the entire process electronically.”

Also, Connect! SuperAPP will allow colleges and universities to receive all application materials from one secure location, automatically matching a student’s complete electronic application to their unique record and integrating directly with their imaging system and/or student information system as desired. By eliminating paper documents as well as multiple sources of student information, admission officials will improve their ability to review a complete student admission application and render a timely admission decision.

ConnectEDU announces that Connect! SuperAPP™ will be available in early 2009. For more information on ConnectEDU, call 888.887.8380 or visit www.connectedu.net.

About the Eligibility Center
The Eligibility Center opened in November 2007 as a replacement for the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse. With a staff of nearly 60 specialists, it performs the important task of certifying high school and international prospective student-athletes as initially eligible to compete in NCAA Divisions I and II sports. Certification decisions are made based on membership-approved NCAA academic and amateurism guidelines. Without this certification, prospective student-athletes cannot compete in Divisions I and II sports. Approximately 160,000 prospective student-athletes submit their credentials each year with approximately 65,000 of those going on to compete in NCAA sports. For more information visit www.ncaa.org.
